Aryaka / Aluminum Curtain Wall Systems
Curtain walling is defined as a set of horizontal and vertical structural elements, usually connected to each other and anchored to the building's supporting structure, that form a lightweight, continuous envelope that encloses a volume. It performs all the functions of an exterior wall, either independently or in conjunction with the building, while possessing none of the load-bearing properties of the structure.
These systems are generally stick systems. In this system, the frame is first created with mullions and transoms. Then:
In the case of Covered Facade, the insulated glass is placed over the wick in the frame and secured first with under-cover pressure and then with the cover profile.
In the case of Silicone Facade, an aluminum cassette profile bonded to the glass both forms a frame and allows for invisible attachment to the mullions and transoms.
Another method, called Integrated Facade or Economical Facade, is based on the principle of attaching the glass using a groove in the insulated glazing beads.
